In the literal meaning of check-up, “general health check” is the examinations to be made periodically in order for each individual to be aware of the risks related to his/her own health in a timely manner and to take early precautions against them. Today, the approach that we call “preventive health service”, “taking necessary measures before the disease emerges and thus keeping the individual healthy” has gained great importance all over the world.
Check-up is a health screening method that is extremely important and not to be postponed in terms of early diagnosis and diagnosis. In this respect, considering the material and non-material losses that may occur after the disease occurs, once a year, we should not consider a period of one hour too much for our own health. The contribution of this one-hour period for our health in the future will be quite satisfactory.
The way to cope with diseases such as cancer, coronary heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, which continue their development in a sneaky way and usually affect more than one organ when they give symptoms, before the symptoms appear, is to be aware of these diseases in advance.
Thanks to a clue obtained during a routine check-up, it may be possible to diagnose such dangerous diseases that progress and persist without revealing their presence. It should not be forgotten that early diagnosis is the most important element of a successful treatment.
