Patient Rights and Responsibilities

YOUR RIGHTS

1. Benefiting from the service in general: To benefit from the activities and preventive health services aimed at promoting healthy living within the framework of the principles of justice and equity, 

2. Access to service in equity: To receive services regardless of race, language, religion and sect, gender, political opinion, philosophical belief, economic and social status, 

3. Information: To learn what all kinds of services and facilities are, 

4. Selecting and changing the institution: To select and change the health institution and to benefit from the health services provided in the selected health institution, 

5. Recognizing, selecting and replacing the personnel: To learn, select and change the identities, duties and titles of the physicians and other personnel who provide and will provide health services, 

6. Requesting information: To request all kinds of information about the health condition verbally or in written, 

7. Privacy: To receive all kinds of health services in an environment suitable for confidentiality, 

8. Consent and Permit: To obtain consent in medical interventions and to benefit from the service within the framework of consent, 

9. Refusing and stopping: To refuse the treatment and to request it be stopped, 

10. Safety: To receive health service in a safe environment, 

11. Ability to fulfill religious obligations: To fulfill the religious obligations within the framework of the measures taken by the administration and within the possibilities of the institution, 

12. Being respected: To receive health services in a good-humored, kind and compassionate manner with respect, care and diligence, 

13. Comfort: To receive health services in an environment where all kinds of hygienic conditions are provided and all noisy and disturbing factors are eliminated, 

14. Visit: To accept visitors in accordance with the procedures and principles determined by the institutions and organizations, 

15. Having hospital attendant: To request to have a hospital attendant to the extent of the possibilities of the legislation, health institutions and organizations and if the physician considers it appropriate, 

16. Right of application, complaint and lawsuit: To exercise all kinds of application, complaint and lawsuit rights within the framework of the legislation in case of violation of their rights, 

17. Continuous service: To benefit from health services as long as necessary, 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provision of Information: We expect our patient to accurately and completely inform his/her physician about his/her complaints, diseases, treatments and medications and general health condition.

2. Following Recommendations: We expect our patient to follow the treatment plan recommended by the physician.

3. Examination and Treatment Expenses: Our patient should inform our center at the time of application how he/she will pay the medical expenses. The amount required for the treatment must be paid within the period determined by our center.

4. Health Institution Rules and Applications: Our patient must follow the rules and principles established by our center. In the event that the patient does not follow the warnings made by our center, transfer to another health institution may be foreseen if the complaints and discomfort of other patients are caused.

5. Respecting: Our patient should respect the rights of other patients and the personnel of our center.

6. Infectious Disease: Our patient who is suspected or diagnosed with an infectious disease should not request discharge without the consent of his/her physician.

7. Improper Request: Our patient should not request the administration of a drug or application that is not approved by his/her physician and not included in the treatment plan.

8. Patient Visitor: Our patients must accept their visitors within the framework of the rules determined by our center.

9. Payment Liability: If our patient uses or intentionally damages the fixture and consumables of our center, the patient is requested to compensate such damages.
