She completed her undergraduate education at Erzurum Ataturk University, Faculty of Medicine and received her specialty education at Eskisehir Osmangazi University, Faculty of Medicine.
Dr. Karakas worked at Kahramanmaras Afsin Central Health Center between 2009-2010, Eskisehir Osmangazi University, Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic between 2010-2014, Sanliurfa Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital between 2014-2016 and Bursa Cekirge State Hospital Zubeyde Hanim Maternity Hospital between 2016-2019, respectively.
